This major academic medical center provides a wide range of medical services, including trauma care, neonatal intensive care, burn care, and a comprehensive suite of specialty care services.The health system is known for its Level I Trauma Center, which is the only one of its kind in the region, providing expert care for the most critically injured patients. They also offer a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, including cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, oncology, and more.
As the Inpatient Laboratory Supervisor ASCP, you will oversee the daily operations of the laboratory department, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. They will supervise a team including Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, and Medical Lab Assistants, ensuring accurate test results and proper specimen handling. The Supervisor coordinates work assignments, reviews staff performance, and provides on-site consultation for technical issues. They also maintain inventory, calibrate instruments, and ensure equipment is functioning properly. The Supervisor participates in quality control, resolves operational problems, and promotes patient satisfaction through courteous and efficient service.
What You Bring:

• 
  
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent experience.
  
• MT or MLS (ASCP) certification
  
• State of Tennessee General Supervisor License required
  
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Medical Technologist
