our exciting studies of the human protein kinome. As part of the
largest BlueSky initiative, "Seeing the Invisible in Protein
Kinases" at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, we are expanding
our structural studies of the human kinome to identify novel
kinase-binding ligands. We are looking for an experienced
biochemist to aid in these efforts. The candidate will work in a
fast-paced research environment, studying protein kinases by
generating and characterizing high quality proteins, assessing
binding affinity and kinetics using various biophysical techniques
in collaboration with Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)
spectroscopists and computational biologists. This role will
involve working closely as part of a multidisciplinary team
including computational chemists, structural biologists,
biochemists, and other biophysical specialists. The unparalleled
NMR center at St. Jude includes three 600 MHz, two 700 MHz, six 800
MHz, 850 MHz, and the first 1.1 GHz in the
world.Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks related to the research project independently,
but within specific guidelines and subject to regular review by
supervisor or other research staff.

purification processes.
- Work effectively in a collaborative team environment where
results are achieved through influence, cooperation, and the
incorporation of multiple points of view.Ideal Candidate:
- Proven expertise in advanced molecular cloning techniques.
