We are committed to creating a nurturing, family-like atmosphere where staff develop meaningful relationships with residents and where exceptional patient outcomes are the standard.Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):Provide personal care (i.e., grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.) of residents daily and as needed.Provide bedside care. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects.Assist with resident comfort.Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.Collect samples and monitor catheters.Take TPR (temperature, pulse, & rate), blood pressure, weighing of residents, etc., as directed.Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.Other special projects and duties, as assigned.Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with current state license.Must have a current/active CPR certification.Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to lift fifty (50) or more pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job.Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time.by Jobble
