Job Description:

The HVAC Project Director is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of HVAC projects, from planning and execution to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing project teams, coordinating with clients, and driving operational excellence while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Project Management & Execution:

• Lead and oversee multiple HVAC projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Ensure adherence to contract terms, scope, and technical specifications.Team Leadership & Coordination:
  • Manage and mentor project managers, engineers, and field teams to optimize performance.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (sales, design, procurement, and operations) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Client & Stakeholder Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
    • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide detailed reports to clients and senior management.Financial & Operational Oversight:
      • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability.
      • Approve expenditures, track financial performance, and report on project profitability.
      • Optimize resource allocation, labor, and materials to maximize efficiency.Compliance & Safety:
        • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, building codes, and company policies.
        • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
        • Lead quality assurance initiatives and resolve any technical issues that arise.Qualifications & Skills:
          • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
          • 8+ years of experience in HVAC project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
          • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, installation, and commissioning.
          • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
          • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
          • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
          • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
          • PMP or relevant certification is a plus.Working Conditions:
            • Office and fieldwork, including site visits and project inspections.
            • Occasional travel may be required.
            • Exposure to construction sites, mechanical rooms, and HVAC installations.
